Kenai Crewsers Rowing Club

Learn to Row

Join us out to Bear Lake on Saturday, May 31 from 9am-1pm to learn to row alongside fellow Sewardites! This is your chance to try rowing—no commitment necessary.

During this fun introductory session, Coach Susan Wood will introduce you to the basics of rowing. You'll get the chance to:
- Learn rowing fundamentals
- Meet the team and Coach Susan
- Try out our equipment and learn key terminology
- Get in a boat and practice on the water (weather permitting)

We’ll wrap up the session with a team BBQ!

Joining Learn to Row costs $75 and participation includes the Learn to Row day and the following two weeks of practices. Novice practices will be Tuesday and Thursday from 7-8:30 pm and there will be a mixed practice with the full club Friday morning.

You must be 12 years old or up to row with the club. Anyone under 18 must have an adult present with them for drop-off.
