Adult Rower
Adult Development Team - The Adult Development Team is a twice a week coached program for rowers who have completed an Adult Learn to Row session and are looking to build skills, fitness, and confidence on the water. Athletes continue developing technique while training alongside our Masters program, with the goal of preparing for a successful transition into full Masters membership.
Participants who transition into a Masters Membership with Coaching will receive a $50 credit for each month spent in ADT, for up to three months.

Visiting Rower Membership - For experienced rowers who are temporarily in the Williamsburg area, we offer a short-term Visiting Rower Membership that allows participation in Masters coached sessions.
This option is intended for non-local athletes (those living more than 50 miles from WBC) and is designed for short-term use.
- iCrew registration, a signed waiver and USRowing Basic Membership are required
- Coach approval required
- One, two or Three month options

Adult Try Rowing Day: May 2, 2026 -
Introduction to Rowing
Curious about rowing? Join us for Try Rowing Day and experience rowing on the Chickahominy River. This beginner-friendly session will introduce the basics of rowing and give you the opportunity to get out on the water with our coaches.
No experience is necessary. Beginners welcome.
Participants who attend Try Rowing Day will receive a $20 credit toward the Adult Learn to Row program.

Focus: Developing rowing fundamentals, building confidence, and staying active. Emphasizes basic skills, teamwork, water safety and enjoyment of the sport.
Make new friends, enjoy being out on the water and be a part of a great team!
Who: A program for rising 6th, 7th, and 8th grade boys and girls with prior rowing experience (middle school season or Learn to Row completion)

Who: A performance program for experienced high school rowers (must have at least one season of club rowing experience)
Focus: Technical development, speed, and consistency. Training emphasizes small boats, sculling and sweep skills, and overall fitness to prepare for the upcoming seasons, with an introduction to coastal beach sprint racing.
